Prize Drawing

A prize drawing will be held at the conclusion of the project as a way to thank boaters for their participation in this survey. The prize drawing is only available to those who received a letter in May inviting them to take part in the survey and who completed the monthly questionnaires.

Each month, the names of those who complete the questionnaire will be entered into the drawing for a chance to win the grand prize of $1,000. However, the chances of winning are greatly improved if people continue to provide monthly information throughout the boating season.

In addition, those who complete each monthly questionnaire will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a prize of $100 for that month. One $100 prize will be awarded for each of the five months that this study is being conducted.

Additional prizes will be added, so please check back often for a list of those prizes.

We would like to thank the following companies and organizations who have kindly donated prizes for the end-of-season or monthly prize drawings.
	Massachusetts Ocean Partnership $1,000 grand prize
	Massachusetts Marine Trades Association 5x $100 monthly draw prizes
	Sea Tow South Shore Three one-year Gold Card memberships. Sea Tow currently operates with three franchises based in East Boston, Marshfield and Falmouth.
	Newburyport Marinas One night stay at one of their marinas for a transient guest. Dockage will be inclusive of power and water and will be available during the 2010 or 2011 season if needed based on availability.The dockage will be for a boat up to 50' and will have an approximate value ranging from $150 to $200.
	Kingman Yacht Center One night's dockage in a slip at Kingman Yacht Center during the 2010 boating season. Advance reservation required, subject to availability. Prize is valued at $130 based upon a 35' boat.
